Founded in 2007, Borealis Color is dedicated to promoting creativity. Whether you consider yourself an artist or you just like to "dabble"; whether you have creative kids in your life or you like to build models, we have products to enhance your opportunities for creative expression and discovery.   

Who We Are:

Borealis Color is owned and operated by a local family who share a love of the arts and a dedication to the North Country.

Owner Susan Olsen is an artist in several media, and welcomes new ideas & inspiration.  Her elder son Garth Olsen is the head of the model department.  Evan Olsen, her younger son, helps in many ways.   Frequent technical support is provided by Eric Olsen, Susan's husband, and by  Margo Nagle, her mother, who is also an artist.
